Dear Advisors and Delegates,

It is my pleasure to invite you to attend Claremont McKenna College’s 8th annual Model United Nations Conference, McKennaMUN VIII, which will be held on April 4th and 5th on Claremont McKenna’s campus.                                                                                

On behalf of the staff and secretariat, we are all excited to share our love for engaging in global affairs with you all. Each member of our team cherishes the time we have to work with attendees at this conference; our hope is to instill in each delegate our same enthusiasm for Model UN. 

We believe that Model UN teaches students invaluable skills, such as collaboration, public speaking, and leadership, to prepare them for a successful future.  At McKenna MUN, we harness these skills through individualized feedback on position papers and engaged dais members who will advise delegates throughout the weekend.

McKennaMUN upholds its commitment each year to meet every delegate at their skill level, which is why once again this year we will feature an assortment of committees from large to small with varying degrees of difficulty. 

Your McKennaMUN Staff and Secretariat hold years of experience in both the High School and Collegiate Model UN communities, and we plan on using our expertise to ensure a fantastic learning   fantastic learning opportunity for every student.
