Political Engagement through Empowered Representation (PEER) Conference

The CARE Center of Claremont McKenna College is housed within the Dean of Students Office. The Center seeks to build capacity in communicating across differences with an emphasis on diversity, inclusion, and respect at the forefront of all conversations. It is a space on campus to have dialogues and to provide resources and support to students of all identities. 

 

Are you interested in making an impactful difference in your community? Diversity and Inclusion? In Politics? Working in non-profit organizations? Understanding how to advocate students at CMC? From March 29 – April 2, 2022, Claremont McKenna College’s CARE Center will be hosting our third annual Political Engagement through Empowered Representation (PEER) Conference. Sessions will address:

 

  • Engaging in Difficult Conversations
  • Student Activism at CMC with Nobody Fails
  • Social Justice Non-Profit Panel
  • Asian American Activism at the 7C’s
