Karina is a junior at CMC majoring in Science Management with a sequence in Data Science and Financial Economics. On campus, other than the RLCIE, she is involved in the Student Investment Fund, Financial Economics Institute, and Student Technology Assistant Team. She is interested in a wide variety of industries ranging from entrepreneurship to finance and hopes to continue to learn how technology plays a crucial role in them. These interests have grown after working at BCG Digital Ventures, a corporate investment and incubation firm which invents, builds, and invests in startups with other companies, as she helped launch a startup company that focuses on preventative safety technology solutions utilizing computer vision and machine learning. In her free time, Karina loves traveling, hiking, going to the beach, and eating good food with her friends.
