Courtney is in the class of 2022 and is interested in Economics and Chinese. As someone who is interested in the intersection of economics and identity within the beauty industry, she’s always thinking of ways to improve the experience of consumers. During the summer after her freshman year, she traveled to China and India for her Appel Fellowship to research the international hair industry. She’s currently working on her startup, Monette Hair, which provides ethically sourced hair extensions to stylists and college students.
